Background:

Governments and the public have been paying increasing attention to the environment in recent years. Laws and regulations for environmental protection are becoming more rigorous, and organizations have to pay higher cost for breach of the laws. On the other hand, environmental protection has been widely acknowledged among people from all walks of life across the globe, and more and more factories are required by buyers to receive audit to secure purchase orders.

The TGI (Think Green Initiative) program, developed by Intertek, a world leading provider of environmental auditing service, has been known, recognized and adopted by more and more brands, retailers and facilities, and an increasing number of companies have participated into the TGI audit program.

TGI is an environmental performance assessment program, which can assist in evaluating, measurement and monitoring the environmental performance of suppliers, helps client to improve their environmental performance continuously.

Training Objective:

• Enable the participants to understand the enterprises’ environmental challenge and the features of TGI program
• Give the participants a better knowledge of TGI audit, and let them learn how to make correction through using what they’ve learnt through the training and by combining the practical situation of their company. Help the company to win acknowledgement by the market and customers through set-improvement.

• Environmental background information
• Brief introduction of TGI program
• Audit process
• TGI audit scope and audit requirement
• Case study

Day 2:

• To practice on-site facility tour under the guidance of instructor, carry out real case study and learning

Award and Qualification:

Upon successful completion of the training program, participants will be awarded an Intertek Knowledge Center certificate (related training record can be traced online by the certificate number).
