SA8000 is a social responsibility standard developed by SAI (Social Accountability International). It helps the company to integrate social responsibility into the corporate rules, production process and operation, and at the same time provides evidence when a third party conducts certification on the company. By implementing SA8000, you can greatly cut monitoring cost, improve supply chain management, enhance corporate image and win consumer confidence and market competitive edge. The 2014 edition of the standard was published in June 2014, and allows a transition period from Sep 1, 2015 to Dec 31, 2016. From Sep 1, 2015, all SA8000 certification and recertification audits shall be conducted according to SA8000: 2014 and all existing certification to SA8000: 2008 shall transition to SA8000: 2014 by Dec 31, 2016.
Upon successful completion of the training program, participants will be awarded an Intertek Training Certificate (related training record can be traced online by the certificate number).
